Firearm Transfers

We are happy to facilitate firearm transfers from other dealers or online sellers. Please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transaction.

Handgun / Receiver / Frame Transfer $45.00
Long Gun Transfer $45.00
Ammo Transfer (Internet)
*except if ordered from Target Sports USA		 $20.00
Private Transfer (Person to Person) $45.00

* Fees are per firearm/item unless otherwise noted.

How It Works

  1. Purchase your firearm

    Buy the firearm from the seller or online store of your choice.

  2. Select Point Blank Armory

    Choose us as your receiving FFL dealer. If we are not on their file, please have them contact us to request a copy of our FFL.

  3. Wait for our call

    Please wait for us to contact you to let you know your transfer is ready for pickup.
    Tracking information showing "Delivered" does not mean it is ready for pickup. We need time to log it into our books.

  4. Come in for pickup

    Bring your valid NYS Driver's License. For handguns, you must have your NYS Pistol License.

Important Policies

  • Identification: You must have a valid government-issued photo ID with your current address.
  • Storage Fees: Firearms not picked up within 10 days will be subject to a $20.00 per month storage fee.
  • Abandoned Items: Any firearm or item not picked up within 120 days will be considered abandoned.
  • NICS Denials / Canceled Sales: $55.00 fee assessed on all NICS denials and canceled sales.

Buyer Beware

If you order a firearm that is not NY-compliant, damaged in shipping, incorrect, missing parts, or if you do not possess the required handgun or semi-auto license, the firearm will not be returned until:

  • The $45 transfer fee is paid
  • A return shipping label is provided or return shipping and handling is paid by the customer

We will not transfer semi-auto barreled actions without the proper permit.
